GLAM TAN box: Self-tanning body mousse and Self-tanning face serum with hyaluronic acid + Glove for easier and even mousse application

GLAM TAN self-tanning body mousse and self-tanning face serum with hyaluronic acid give you a tanned bronze complexion. Depending on the tone you want, in 4, 6, 8 or more hours, a color will develop that will make your skin darken.

Our GLAM TAN products provide you a tanned skin all year round, without the need to go to the solarium or long-term sun exposure and harmful UV radiation which, in addition to causing cancer, causes skin damage, burns, redness, accelerated aging and earlier wrinkles.

1. GLAM TAN self-tanning body mousse, 150 ml

The body mousse gives you a long-lasting tan with a duration of up to 10 days. The skin of the body must be well prepared before use so that the tanning is even, without the appearance of spots, and read more about use below under 'Tips for use'. Before each use, it is necessary to do a body exfoliation, and for easier and more even application, use our GLAM TAN glove.

Nourish your skin every day with quality creams to maintain color for as long as possible - we recommend our rich moisturizing body milk Hydra BABE. If you want to maintain a darker skin tone, you will need to use self-tanning body mousse regularly because part of the color washes off with each wash/shower. Before each re-use, do a body scrub again to remove any dead cells from the surface of the skin and prevent uneven tanning.

IMPORTANT: read the INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE below because you can have uneven color and stains only if you have not done the skin prep well or if you have not applied the foam evenly. It takes a little time, patience and practice :-)

Self-tanning body mousse does NOT contain a protection factor (it is mandatory to use sunscreen when exposed to the sun - See our Sun BABE body cream with SPF 30 and Sun BABE face cream with SPF 50).

2. GLAM TAN self-tanning face serum with hyaluronic acid, 30 ml

Self-tanning face serum with hyaluronic acid gives your face a natural and even feeling of tan, and at the same time nourishes the skin thanks to hyaluronic acid, vitamin B and glycerin. After application, the effect is not immediately visible, so let the color develop for 4-8 hours. During this time, avoid contact with water and apply other products to the skin, and it is best to leave it on overnight. After 4-8 hours, rinse skin with water.

Self-tanning body mousse and serum contain natural DHA (dihydroxyacetone) which actually gives a bronze color to your skin. It is a colorless, non-toxic carbohydrate that is obtained naturally, most commonly from sugar cane. In contact with your skin, it stimulates the formation of the melanoid pigment, which gives the skin a darker complexion. When applying the product, a surface reaction takes place, i.e. DHA reacts with amino acids that are naturally present on the surface layers of the skin - so it is necessary to avoid contact with water for several hours after application so that the product does not come off the skin before it has the opportunity to react with amino acids on the surface. We recommend applying the product before bed. 

La PIEL GLAM TAN self-tanning body mousse is enriched with ingredients that keep your skin hydrated, soft and nourished, but also keep the color stable: glycerin, coconut oil, vitamin E, various extracts (coffee extract, vanilla, cocoa...).

Hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, glycerin and plant extracts (aloe vera, calendula, coral algae, witch hazel, gotu kola..) in GLAM TAN serum hydrate and smooth the skin, maintain a youthful appearance of the skin, prevent water loss and collagen breakdown, and the appearance of dryness and lifeless skin.

Step 1: Before applying Glam tan self-tanning body mousse, do a body scrub to get rid of dry skin, remove dead cells from the skin surface and avoid uneven tanning of the skin. Also apply a little moisturizer, paying particular attention to the elbows, knees, ankles and heels and between the toes. 

* Important: areas of dry skin absorb self-tanning pigment faster and more intensively than the rest of the skin, so it is important to do EXFOLIATION beforehand, apply additional cream, especially dry areas, and apply GLAM TAN body mousse evenly. 

Step 2: 

FACE: Use La PIEL GLAM TAN self-tanning face serum with hyaluronic acid. Apply 5-10 drops on a dry and clean face and neck (more or less drops of it will give a lighter or darker color - adjust to your taste). The effect of darker skin is NOT immediately visible, only after 4-8 hours, after the color develops. After applying the serum, wash your hands thoroughly, and for maximum effect, leave the serum on for 8 hours (it is best to leave it on overnight), while to achieve a lighter shade, rinse earlier. Avoid contact with water on the face while developing the color. After achieving the desired color, moisturize your face more often in the coming days (we recommend our face cream). You can use the serum as often as you want. 
* Before applying, we recommend doing a gentle exfoliation of the face to remove dead cells from the surface of the skin and allow the skin to darken evenly, without the appearance of blemishes. 
* Ingredients such as retinol, niacinamide, vitamin C in higher concentrations can reduce the effect of GLAM TAN on the face. 

BODY: Instead of applying the body mousse with your hands, to achieve a uniform color, apply it with our soft GLAM TAN glove, which you get as a GIFT, in circular and/or sliding movements, covering all the desired parts of the body in detail. Leave the elbows, knees, ankles, heels and the area between the toes for the end and coat in a thin layer. Apply the mousse with a make-up brush on your hands (recommendation: kabuki brush), between your fingers and toes and blend well. Wait for the foam to dry on the skin, and you can speed up the process with a hair dryer. Put baby powder on the places where you sweat (armpit, inner elbow, inner knee). In the end, wipe your palms with a damp cloth.



Step 3: Depending on the skin tone you want to achieve, let the body mousse work: 
4 hours: light tanning 
6 hours: medium tanning 
8 and more hours: maximum tanning 

Avoid contact with water during color development/self-tanning process. We recommend applying body mousse before bed, and we also recommend that you wear dark clothes then so that you do not have stains on your clothes during the development of color. 

Step 4: Take a shower and rinse part of the body mousse and serum from the skin (the skin tone of the body will be slightly lighter because part of the body mousse will be washed off when showering). 

To achieve a more intense color in the future, apply an extra layer of body mousse to the skin of the body or a larger number of drops of serum on the face.
