La PIEL Purchase Protection
La PIEL Purchase Protection Policy provides shipping insurance for our customers’ online purchases that are lost or damaged while in transit or “porch pirated” (“porch pirated” meaning the carrier reports the status as “delivered” but the parcel has been stolen from the delivery address and a police report has been filed).

Customers who do not purchase La PIEL Purchase Protection are not eligible for coverage on items lost or damaged in transit.
 
Easy Insurance provides customers with a summary of the La PIEL Purchase Protection Policy and instructions to file a notice of loss. La PIEL Purchase Protection reserves the right to change pricing at any time. If your customers opt in to the Easy Insurance Policy, this charge will appear for such customers to review and verify at checkout. 

All fees paid for the Services are non-refundable and non-transferable except as may be expressly provided in these Terms. 

CLAIMS 
Claims for packages marked “delivered must be filed after 5 days and before 15 days from the date the package was marked “delivered.”

Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not “delivered”) must be filed after 7 days and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.

COVERAGE
Coverage provided by La PIEL Purchase Protection covers the parcel and its contents from all risks of physical loss or damage from an external cause (subject to the exclusions) while in transit only. All parcels that are covered by La PIEL Purchase Protection will be shipped in strict accordance with all regulations of the Carrier. Coverage is on a parcel-by-parcel basis and each individual insured parcel must have a declared value for coverage.

CONDITIONS
CLAIM REQUIREMENTS
1.    All packaging material and damaged goods must be kept in the original form as received. Packaging and damaged goods should not be disposed of or released to the carrier before a claim is completed as photographs will be required. Failure to comply will result in the denial of the claim due to insufficient packing.

2.    Concealed damage allows for the discovery of loss or damage up to 15 days after final delivery. The loss is deemed to have possibly occurred during the insured transit. Discovery of loss or damage occurring 16 days or later after final delivery is deemed to have occurred while the shipment was NOT in transit, and therefore, is not covered.

3.    In case of loss or damage to the covered parcel or freight the following must be completed:

1.    The Insured will file immediate notice of non-delivery, damage, or shortage with La PIEL by Lana Jurčević and La PIEL Purchase Protection;

2.    The recipient will take proper exceptions on the delivery receipt when any loss or damage is apparent at the time of delivery;

3.    The Insured will complete a La PIEL Purchase Protection claim form and provide all required documents to La PIEL Purchase Protection within (15) calendar days from the date of shipment.

4.    A complete claim submission must include a La PIEL Purchase Protection claim form, a copy of the carrier’s tracer form, a copy of the invoice, photos of damaged goods and packaging, a repair estimate, a claim statement signed by the recipient (or intended recipient), and any other documentation requested by La PIEL Purchase Protection. Failure to complete the claim form and follow all claim instructions could lead to non-settlement of claim

5.    Once a claim has been accepted and approved by us, prompt payment will be made to the Insured.

6.    We and La PIEL Purchase Protection will rely on the determination of responsibility made by the original Carrier to assist in substantiating the loss.

VALUATION
La PIEL Purchase Protection shall be liable for the invoice value of parcel or freight lost, destroyed or damaged, however, in the event there is no invoice, we shall be liable for the actual cash value of the parcel or freight. In no event shall claims exceed the value declared prior to shipment and declared for premium purposes.
 
 La PIEL reserves the right to cancel or deny freight protection claims if there is negligence from you as the customer or if there is fraud involved in attempting to attain free product.

Fully accepts these General Terms and Conditions
confirms the completeness, accuracy, authenticity and timeliness of personal data
gives the Seller express consent to the User's personal data for the purposes of his / her own records, for the purposes of creating a customer database, for notifying new products and services, promotions and protecting the interests of users and preventing any misuse.
A registration or a user account is created for one person only and is not allowed to share registration data or user account with third parties. The user is obliged to keep account information and the password of the user. The Seller treats each registration as a special right and is not allowed to use the Registrar or Account User.

The User is also responsible for all unauthorized activities authorized and executed under his / her username and / or password if the Seller has not previously notified the Seller of any unauthorized use of his / her username and / or password (or suspicion).



Pursuant to Article 57 of the Consumer Protection Act, the Seller shall notify the Buyer in a clear and comprehensible manner of:

2. its name and headquarters, telephone number and e-mail address to which the consumer can address his / her potential complaints
3. the retail price of the product and the cost of transport, delivery or postal services
4. terms of payment, terms of delivery of goods and manner of solving possible consumer complaints
5. terms and conditions, deadlines and procedures for exercising the right to unilateral termination of the contract as well as a one-off termination contract in accordance with Article 74, paragraph 1 of this Act, in cases where such right exists

By agreeing to these General Terms and Conditions, the Buyer agrees to provide the Confirmation of the Advance Notice by e-mail to the e-mail address provided as a contact when placing your order or by post to your home address along with the delivery of the Product.

The Seller is not responsible for any delays in delivery of such damages and other obligations that are in the domain of the delivery service but will, in agreement with it, provide a top service to each customer. In the event that the Buyer sees any damages upon the takeover of the goods, he must send the complaint to the vendor on the spot and send them in writing to the Seller's e-mail info@lapielshop.com

You will be able to pay for the Products and Delivery ordered at our web store according to the model you choose when ordering. Payment of the Product can be made:

Inability to deliver

If some of the products ordered can not be delivered, the seller will contact the buyer via e-mail and notify you of the mentioned. The buyer may cancel the ordered product or request a replacement product. All other ordered products will be delivered to the Buyer.

Prices include the cost of transport, delivery or postal services, unless otherwise noted.
The price of the goods is determined for each product individually.

DELIVERY

Through www.lapielshop.com it is possible to purchase and deliver products on the territory of the World. Delivery is done by engaging a reputable delivery service. Delivery is done at the home or business address that Customer has made when purchasing on www.lapielshop.com

Within 24 hours of the Sale Agreement (ordering in the web store) within 24 hours we will fill the order with the delivery service with the exact location information and contact for the goods to be taken over.

Products will be adequately packaged for cargo transportation to prevent damage or impairment of the contents during transport (placing the contents of the shipment in the appropriate packaging - wrap, box etc.).

Delivery prices

The delivery price depends on the order delivery address and depends on the weight of the package itself.

The shipping cost is always displayed separately and printed on the invoice. The Seller charges the Customer for delivery of the Products according to the price list and the packaging of the product is included in the delivery price.

The delivery price will depend on the delivery address of the order and on the quantity or the weight of the ordered products.

The delivery price will be shown to the Buyer after completing the order and selecting the delivery address.

The Seller is not responsible for any delays in delivery of such damages and other obligations that are in the domain of the delivery service but will, in agreement with it, provide a top service to each customer.

In the event that the Buyer sees any damages upon the takeover of the goods, he must send the complaint to the vendor on the spot and send them in writing to the Seller's e-mail info@lapielshop.com

Shipment to buyer

The delivery is done within the deadline indicated for each product.
We do not affect the delivery of postal services or the possible retention of customs duties.
Delivery of all products is done on weekdays from Monday to Friday.
Delivery time is 3-14 working days.

In some cases, a product can wait up to 15 business days due to: national holidays, holidays, or increased traffic on the post. In such situations, when we receive timely information from a foreign supplier, we will notify you of the possibility of prolonging the delivery deadline.

Each shipment shall be verified and signed by the Recipient upon receipt of the shipment. Pursuant to the provisions of the Mandatory Relationship Act, the consignment shall be deemed to have been delivered in an undamaged condition by the receipt of a delivery note, and after that the carrier is exempted from any subsequent liability. The sender will indicate the reference number of the accompanying documentation in the takeover list, with a later signed list with the reference number to prove the delivered delivery.

Receipt of goods

When delivering, along with the purchased Product, the Buyer receives all documentation accompanying the Product, the Account and the receipt of the shipment required to sign, if there is no reason to complain. By signing a receipt on the receipt of the shipment, the Buyer acknowledges that during the takeover of the Product, he has made his review and that the Product has been taken without any visible damage to the outside, that it is quantitatively and qualitatively corresponding to the products from the account and that all the documents have been delivered with the products in accordance with the legal regulations.

If the Buyer has found the reason for the complaint during the review of the submitted products, the goods must be immediately advertised to the deliverer because the complaints filed after the delivery of the delivered Products will be disregarded by the Seller.

When purchasing the delivered Product, the Buyer is required to inspect the delivered product, ie to check for any visible external damage to the consignment and / or the products inside the consignment and to immediately advertise them to the delivery worker, and refuse to accept the delivered products on which they are visible damage.

If a product has a hidden disadvantage that could not be detected by a regular review when taking over what the buyer determines when opening the product - the buyer is entitled to one-sided termination of the contract and refund, product replacement, removal or reduction of the price.

Inability to deliver:

If the Buyer or Authorized Downloader does not deliver at the delivery address itself, the goods will be temporarily kept at the local / regional courier service unit, and the Customer will be given a notice via a text message with the correct information and a phone number where he can arrange the next delivery.

The wrongly shipped product

In cases where the product delivered to the Buyer is different from the one it has purchased, the Buyer is entitled to the Delivery of the Ordered Product and, if it is not possible, Buyer is entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the Product, the Delivery Price and the Costs for Product Recovery is obliged to return the wrong Product delivered.

Refusal of downloads

In the event Customer does not take over the product or refuses to take over the Product for no valid reason, the Seller reserves the right to request compensation for the costs of manipulation, transportation and other possible costs.
