It is necessary to clean the face daily for healthy and beautiful skin since the accumulation of impurities, sebum, makeup, SPF, etc. can lead to clogging of pores, heavier absorption of active ingredients from the face cream or serum, and also the appearance of skin irregularities.
"Double cleanse" method
"double cleanse" (DC) method allows you to gently but extremely effectively clean your face, without damaging the hydrolipid barrier. It involves cleaning the face with two types of products:
- The first step is a face cleanser based on oils and/or butters - LAB multipurpose BALM. Use a face sponge to remove balm and impurities from your face or apply foam immediately and then use a face sponge to remove everything from your face and
- The second step is water-based products - LAB foam
- Finally, use a face sponge to remove excess balm and foam from the face - sponge
In the first step our multi-purpose balm effectively removes impurities, makeup, sebum and SPF (sunscreen products). Using foam in the second step will remove possible residual impurities and deeply clean the pores. They are suitable for cleaning the eye area.
Using balm and foam in the "double cleanse" method is suitable for all skin types. Thanks to the rich balm formula (oils, butters, vitamin E) and foam (glycerin, panthenol, herbal extracts), they're suitable for dry and sensitive skin. They preserve the lipid layer of the skin, do not dry out the skin and do not cause a feeling of tightening after cleansing, which is extremely important for dry skin. They are also suitable for combination skin type, but we recommend avoiding the use of balm in the T-zone. The balm can also be used for oily skin, but with the obligatory use of foam as the second step of DC method.

It is used for face cleansing and as a makeup remover, to help remove the facial cleansing product, impurities and makeup residues from your face and at the same time make a slight exfoliation (removing dead skin cells). The sponge is gentle on your face, and you can use it daily to facilitate your skincare and makeup routines.

Oils and butters efficiently, but gently remove makeup and all impurities, while also skin care and preparation for the rest of the routine. Oils (avocado oil, coconut oil) and butters (shea butter, cocoa butter) in the composition of a multi-purpose balm preserve the lipid layer of the skin, do not dry it out and do not cause feeling tightening after cleaning. The formula is also enriched with vitamin E, which is known as an excellent antioxidant, it is very effective in protecting the skin from damage caused by free radicals and UV radiation.
In La PIEL LAB foam for facial cleansing and makeup removal, no aggressive surfactants such as SLS, SLES are included, but a combination of mild ones that effectively remove surface impurities, gently cleanse the skin of the face without drying out, irritation and feeling of tightening. To prevent moisture loss from the skin, we have added moisturizing agents to our formula, enriched it with apricot oil and with as many as 8 antioxidant herbal extracts in addition to the antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect, they prevent the breakdown of collagen and help regulate the production of sebum. Glycerin and panthenol also play a moisturizing role and retain moisture in the skin, prevent drying out of the skin and improve elasticity and general condition of the skin.

Double cleanse / double cleaning method
FIRST STEP (multi-purpose balm): sse a spatula to take a small amount of balm and apply it to a dry face. Massage until the makeup and other impurities melt (about 20 seconds). Do not take off with water, use a face sponge which you get in the package.
SECONG STEP (foam): To remove possible residual impurities. Squeeze two to three pumps into a clean palm and apply them to your face. Massage until the rest of the balm and makeup melt. Remove the foam and the rest of the impurities using a face sponge and wash.
After cleaning the face, use moisturiser (we suggest our La PIEL LAB face cream).
*Balm has multiple uses, so you can use ii for eye area, lip care or any other dry and/or dehydrated areas (apply it in a thin layer).
Before each cleaning, first soak the face sponge in lukewarm water and carefully drain the excess water. After use, rinse the sponge and leave it in a vertical position, in a breathable and clean place so that it dries as well and as quickly as possible. Before the first use it will be quite hard, but under lukewarm water it softens quickly and is ready for use.
