It gives you a  bronze tanned skin tone without sun exposure for days or going to the solarium. To avoid uneven tanning of the skin, Matcha BABE body scrub will prepare your skin well before using the self-tanning body mousse, but also keep your skin soft and smooth to the touch, and glove for easier and more even application of self-tanning body mousse.

1. Matcha BABE body scrub made of matcha (green tea leaf powder) and salt, 350 g

A body scrub will help remove the dead layer from the surface of the skin and thus prepare the skin for the use of self-tanning body mousse. Before body mousse, good skin preparation is very important in order to get an evenly darker skin tone and prevent the formation of unwanted blemishes.

 *IMPORTANT: Matcha BABE body scrub over time can take on a darker shade due to its natural composition, but also due to the natural process: oxidation of green tea. Keep the scrub in a dark and cool place to avoid premature oxidation. If thescrub changes its color a little, it is still equally effective and you can use it.

Also apply a little moisturizer before applying the body self-tanning body mousse, paying particular attention to the elbows, knees, ankles and heels and between the toes. We recommend our Hydra BABE rich body milk with hyaluronic acid, coenzyme Q10 and high quality oils.

In addition, exfoliation can help you solve problems such as ingrown hairs, dry skin, minor stretch marks... It is enough to use it once a week, before applying self-tanning body mousse.

2. GLAM TAN self-tanning body mousse, 150 ml

GLAM TAN self-tanning body mousse gives you an instantly tanned bronze skin tone, and depending on the tone you want, in 4, 6, 8 or more hours a color will develop that will make your skin self-tan (for a more intense color, apply the body mousse in two layers ) thanks to an ingredient called DHA (of natural origin).

If you want to maintain a darker skin tone, you will need to use a self-tanning body mousse regularly because part of the color washes off with each wash/shower. Before each use, it is necessary to exfoliate the body with body scrub.

IMPORTANT: read the INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE below because you can have uneven color and stains only if you have not done the skin prep well or if you have not applied the foam evenly. It takes a little time, patience and practice :-)

It does not contain protective factor (it is mandatory to use protective factor when exposed to the sun - See our Sun BABE body cream with SPF 30 and Sun BABE face cream with SPF 50).

3. GLAM TAN glove

The soft GLAM TAN glove is used for easier and even application of self-tanning body mousse. It prevents the formation of unwanted blemishes on the skin and ensures a perfect and even tan.

Apply the self-tanning product directly to the body or glove, and spread it in a circular motion with the GLAM TAN glove on the body to spread it evenly. Read more about how to use it below under 'How to use'.

The salt in Matcha BABE body scrub will enable a slight exfoliation of the surface layer of the skin and remove dead skin cells. The body scrub is enriched with shea butter and oils (jojoba oil, almond oil, wheat germ oil) which restore moisture and elasticity to the skin, have both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and promote healing of damaged skin. La PIEL GLAM TAN self-tanning body mousse is enriched with ingredients that keep your skin hydrated, soft and nourished, but also keep the color lasting: Glycerin, coconut oil, vitamin E, natural DHA (dihydroxyacetone).

Step 1: Before applying GLAM TAN self-tanning body mousse, do a Matcha BABE body scrub to get rid of dry skin, remove dead cells from the skin surface and avoid uneven tanning of the skin. During the shower, apply an exfoliating layer to wet skin in a circular motion. Leave it for a minute, two, to release its nutrients, then rinse. We suggest that shaving/depilation be separated from the day when you do the exfoliation because salt could sting you. Also apply a little moisturizer, paying particular attention to the elbows, knees, ankles and heels and between the toes.

Important: areas of dry skin absorb self-tanning pigment faster and more intensively than the rest of the skin, so it is important to exfoliate beforehand, apply additional cream to the body, especially dry areas, and apply mousse evenly. 

Step 2: Instead of applying the body mousse with your hands, to achieve an even color, apply it with our soft GLAM TAN glove that you receive in the package, in a circular and/or sliding motion, covering all the desired body parts in detail. Leave the elbows, knees, ankles, heels and the area between the toes for the end and apply a thin layer. Apply the mousse with a make-up brush on your hands (recommendation: kabuki brush), between your fingers and toes and blend well. Wait for the foam to dry on the skin, and you can speed up the process with a hair dryer. Put baby powder on the places where you sweat (armpit, inner elbow, inner knee). In the end, wipe your palms with a damp cloth.

Step 3: Depending on the skin tone you want to achieve, let the body mousse work:

4 hours: light tanning

6 hours: medium tanning

8 and more hours: maximum tanning

Avoid contact with water during self-tanning process. We recommend applying foam before sleep, and we also recommend that you wear dark clothes to avoid stains on your clothes during self-tanning process.

Step 4: Take a shower and rinse part of the body mousse off the skin (the skin tone will be slightly lighter as part of the body mousse will be washed off when showering).

Step 5: Use La PIEL GLAM TAN Hyaluronic self-tanning serum for the face.

To achieve a more intense color in the future, apply an extra layer of body mousse to the skin.
